Amendment to Reduction in Grant Regulations (Wales only)
Young persons and Employment and Support Allowance
On March 4th 2010 these regulations were amended to change the
maximum age of a young person to nineteen, and to incorporate Employment and Support Allowance.
The maximum age of a young person will be raised to his or her 20th birthday.
Income based ESA will passport to 100% grant, and Contribution based ESA will in certain circumstances give rise to additions to the relevant person's applicable amount.
