I get an error message saying "Licence file is missing or corrupt, aborting (1)" or "Your Licence file has not been found - unable to load
<program name>".

Re-apply the most recent update. If the default paths have been used during the installation, for example:
x:\Program Files\ferret applications\<program name>\
ensure the path used by the update is:
x:\Program Files\ferret applications\
where x: is the drive where the program is installed.

How can I run Maximiser in 'Configuration Mode' or create an icon to run Maximiser in 'Configuration Mode'?
|
- Copy the icon named Maximiser and paste it on your desktop.
- If you do not have a Maximiser icon on your desktop, navigate to
Start -> Programs -> Ferret Applications, and copy the Maximiser icon to your desktop.
- Right click the copied icon on your desktop and press Properties.
- Where it reads Target under the Shortcut tab,
add " /s" (including the space, but not the quotation marks) at the end, after the double quotes.
- Typically, you should see something similar to this: "x:\Ferret Applications\conman.exe" "x:\Ferret Applications\
maximise\maximise.exe" /s. Where x: is the drive where the program is installed.
- Click OK and rename the shortcut to 'Configure Maximiser'.

How do I access the configuration mode?
|
You should find a short-cut in Programs->Ferret Applications on the PC used for the original installation.
You can make a short-cut for configuration mode by making a
copy of the short-cut you normally use to access the program,
and editing the target line by adding /s to the end.
You will probably need Admin rights to change the settings for Network installations.
