  NHS Low Income Scheme - If you are entitled to NHS treatment and meet certain conditions you may get help with the costs of:sight tests, NHS dental treatment, glasses and contact lenses, necessary travel to and from hospital for NHS treatment under the care of a hospital consultant.   Free School Meals Free school meals are available to eligible children who attend a maintained school in Wales. Universal primary free school meals are currently being rolled out across Wales, starting with the youngest learners in primary schools.   School Essentials Grant Children whose families are on lower incomes and qualify for certain benefits can apply for a grant. All compulsory school years from reception to year 11 are now eligible.   Welsh Water WaterSure Wales tariff  WaterSure Wales tariff caps the annual metered bill amount.  Applicants must receive a means tested benefit and either have 3 or more children or a household member must have a medical condition requiring exrtra water use.  Conditions include Desquamation (flaky skin disease), Weeping Skin (eczema, psoriasis, varicose ulceration), Incontinence, Abdominal Stoma, Crohn's Disease or Renal failure requiring home dialysis (except where the health authority contributes to the cost of the dialysis).
